DataLinks linking to data sources |
|
Last updated: |

Description
The first time you access a DataLink (typically by running a template that uses it), you are prompted to set up the ODBC connection to the data source if it does not exist on the current computer.
Explanation
Create a DataLink to a data source. Use the DataLink in a template to link to the fields in the data source.
On another computer, run the template, and the following message opens if there is no ODBC connection to the data source on the current computer:
Click Yes and GhostFill will automatically connect to the ODBC DSN for the required data source.

NOTE |
|
This feature will not work with DataLinks that link to non-networked data sources, or that use drive mappings that are unique to a computer. |
