Korbitec has a loyal and dedicated team of over 300 team members, some of whom have
been with Korbitec since its inception over 30 years ago.
Of these, more than a third constitute our central core of software developers and
engineers.
Highly empowered and self-governing development teams, underpinned by sophisticated
management and retention strategies, form the basis of the software production engine
of Korbitec.
Project teams work in a fashion akin to start-up companies within a corporate environment.
This approach encourages creativity and keeps them in touch with the commercial
reality of their products while still allowing them to benefit from the structured
approach to software engineering that Korbitec has developed over the years.
In addition, we have a dedicated team that is responsible for all IT infrastructures
within the company. The Technical Operations Team is responsible for server hosting,
internet connectivity, computer networking and telephone systems throughout our
national footprint.
In order to ensure that our software products are well received, the Customer Management
Team is focussed on ensuring we build and maintain the relationships we have with our customers.
We have six branches in Johannesburg, Durban, Cape Town, Bloemfontein, East London
and Port Elizabeth, providing an unrivalled customer management footprint across
the entire country.
The service offering provided by the Branch Teams is underpinned by a state-of-the-art
Customer Service Centre in Newlands, Cape Town, that provides remote support for all
products and customer groups.
The product, technology and support teams are themselves ably supported by focussed
teams in finance, human resources and facilities that ensure the smooth and efficient
delivery of internal processes.
